Review content:
Pasado's has a long history of fraud. Fraudulent fundraising and fraudulent use of money. A long history of slander, bullying, intimidation and harassment. The founders used donations to build themselves a 500k home. They used the Hurricane Katrina situation to solicit donations and even grants from HSUS and ASPCA. Once they had the money they dumped the dogs to DIE with a hoarder in Alabama named Tammy Hansen.
The Everett Herald has been investigating and reporting on them for well over 5 yrs. WA State Attorney Gen. spent 16 months investigating them and fined them 75k. They also required them to restructure their accounting and their leadership. However this has done NOTHING. 40% of your donations go to the animals while the other 60% go to the enormous salaries that the CEO and his staff are receiving.
Law enforcement and animal control in Snohomish Co. refuse to work with Pasado's due to their ineptness. There are plenty of other worthy and HONEST charities and rescues out there who would use your money wisely. Do not support Pasado's and their money grubbing media whores.
