Review content:
7 years ago we contracted WCI Inc. to install vinyl siding to our 2 story house. Recently we discovered the siding on the back wall of our house was not put up properly and for 7 years we have had rain water pouring down the wall behind the siding causing the wall to become moisture damaged. We asked WCI to come over to give us an estimate for repairing the wall and Mr. Wilson, the owner, came out to look things over. We were all set to pay for the work, we hadn?t even considered a warranty but Mr. Wilson said the siding was installed poorly and that our lifetime warranty would cover the cost to fix our problem. After 2 months of stalling but at the same time assuring us the work would be done they told us ?no? the siding is fine. Yes, the siding is fine it?s the installation that caused the wall underneath to become water damaged and they refuse to honor the warranty or even come to the house to discuss options. Be warned if you use this company because their warranty is useless and they will take you on a nightmare ride before they refuse you. (and we didn?t even bring up to WCI that their installers had put a nail thru a pipe which required part of our bathroom floor to be torn up)
