So, I was not expecting to get a fab haircut and color in Keego Harbor, of all places. I was hopeful, as always, but really didn't expect much. I read a positive review about Christopher's here on CitySearch and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad that I did. The salon is a funky little place on Orchard Lake Rd. Great atmosphere. Really nice, fun stylists. And most importantly, excellent work. I've been to salons in Paris, NYC, Miami, LA...and everywhere in between...and to be honest, the all-over color with highlights and cut that I was given by Ashley is one of the best I've ever received. It *is* hands-down the best color job I've had. Looks wonderfully natural... me only better. Price was great as well, as a special was going on. Can't believe all of the money and time I wasted at over-priced too-much-attitude salons like Heidi's and MarioMax. For the best in Metro Detroit, just head down Orchard Lake Rd. to Christopher's.
Pros: Excellent stylists, color, and cuts. Great atmosphere
Cons: May be out of the way for some, but is easily accessible via Telegraph and Orchard Lk Rd
