Review content:
I’m writing to report that my mother, a stroke survivor who sadly passed away in late 2010, was abused by employees of PA Agency of Nurses of Newtown Square, PA for years. In the midst of a guardianship battle, the aides from this agency abandoned my mother during night service shifts. This action took place for 6 months leading up to a highly contested guardianship situation. During the wait for a court date, Beth Ann Maas, purportedly an RN, came to my mother’s home and literally stole her Daily Care Log on August 12, 2008. It showed evidence that her staff were abandoning my mother every week that I come to her home to help with her care.\r \r Prior to this abominable behavior, PA Agency of Nursing aides were taking money under the table from family members to work outside of established shift times. The aides broke every rule in their agency’s rulebook. I work in the health educational field for a foundation founded by a renowned heart surgeon. I feel compelled to report that PA Agency of Nurses is an agency that abuses helpless senior citizens, supposedly founded by 3 nurses. They never once responded to my communications regarding my mother. I look forward to any input you may offer.\r \r Amy Barone\r 646 732 5076 \r \r \r
