In march Jim was using his chainsaw and it kept stalling while in idle. It's an older chainsaw, but still good. He though maybe the fuel lines were clogging so he went to change them. They basically dissolved in his hands. We looked up a close-ish store that is an authorized dealer and took the chainsaw in. Two weeks later we get a call the hoses had been replaced. I asked if that took care of the idle problem,. the guy said it must have been sitting for awhile. I told him that Jim had used it about a week before we brought it in.\r He got very nasty with me and asked how Jim had used it without gas hoses. I tried to explain that the hoses were the secondary problem, but gave up . We went in on sat morning, paid for the hoses, Jim carried the chainsaw out the front door, and on their sidewalk he powered it up, stalled while idling. The mechanic came out, Jim left it with him and we left\r 2 months later, we have not heard anything from this store at all. I called and The man told me the hoses had been replaced and it was ready to pick up. I asked him about the idling stall problem. He told me that all he had on his ticket was gas hoses.\r I told him about how we came to pick it up , blah blah blah, and he said that all it said was gas hoses. I asked him if the work had been paid for. He said yes it was. I asked why we would come, pay for the hoses, and leave it if there wasn't another problem... and he said, ""YOu want a new chainsaw and we don't do that"" and hung up on me!\r how would we get a new chainsaw? It's not under warranty, I didn't accuse them of breaking it, where the heck did that come from? \r I called him back and told him that we would be picking up the chainsaw Sat, \r He told me fine, I didn't know how to talk to people. I asked him if he felt having it there for two months without fixing it or contacting us was professional... and damn it if he did not hang up on me again. Yes he did. \r Cons: very rude and hung up on me twice
