Review content:
?Persian Room,? in Scottsdale Arizona; if you like soggy, under cooked chicken, wet filet mignon, topped with below McDonald?s standards in customer service, then the Persian Room is defiantly the place for you. My sister recommended this place to me, commending then on having a great atmosphere, good food, and last but certainly not least, phenomenal prices. It took a grand total of twenty five minutes after being seated for someone (NICK/TIM) to greet us. He proceeded to ask us what we wanted to drink. But by that time, we already knew what we were interested in ordering. We ordered the drinks, appetizers (Humus), and the main course, which was the Persian Room Special. By the time the humus was brought to the table we were out of the pita bread . We tried ordering more bread. The pita bread was brought out only after the disaster of the main course was presented to us. The chicken was undercooked and drenched in water. The filet mignon was cooked properly but was also wet. The only thing the cooks at the Persian Room managed to make right is the Koobideh Kebab. We complained to the waiter. (I don?t recall his name. He took the tray and came back a few minutes later; the chicken was still not prepared properly. When the check came, I was outraged. Included in the $139 total, was Gratuity (Gratuity!!! For $19) Gratuity, Gratuity for what?? For the crappy service or for the horrible food?? I went to whom I assumed was the manager and explained to him everything that we experienced in his restaurant??.. NO APOLOGY, NO NOTHING. He proceeded to take off the GRATUITY and commented that they were under staffed. (THATS REALLY NOT MY PROBLEM) If your thing about visiting this place, (DON?T) . From the looks of this place from the outside you?d think you were royalty walking into a palace, but be careful. YOUR BETTER OFF GOING TO ?MY BIG FAT GREEK RESTAURANT?
