Review content:
vehicle was impounded with my bill of sale and cost in the glove box. towing charges, storage fees @ $20.00/day for 32 days came to a total of $920.00. Cost of vehicle was originally $800.00. you figure.\r Approximately $20,000.00 worth of professional tools, $1000.00 in Leatherwork tools, clothing, computer and peripheals, TV, typewriter , roll-around U.S. General tool cabinet @ &589.00 and Snap-on top box @ $1115.00 value still in the truck. Called the establishment and explained that i was disabled and had neither the funds nor the transportation to pick my property up and that D & W could have my vehicle. explained that as soon as the VA paid me back disability payments, that i would make arrangements to retrieve the rest of my personal property. that at the time, i was living in a homeless shelter and when housing and monies were available, i would call and inform them as such and would pay reasonable storage fees. was informed by D & W the last week in november, that my vehicle was sold at auction along with all of my personal property. be aware that this type of activity is done on a scale widespread in that area of the I-45 corridor and strongly recommend the use of AAA recommended operators only.
