Review content:
I decided to try Serena Medspa when I read such wonderful reviews on the internet. However I feel I was swindled and don't think these are credible reviews after the experience I had with the owner. I find it odd that all of the reviews mention the owner by name and appear to be written by the same person only days apart from one another. The owner Karim was pleasant during my first visit and I was pleased with the nurse and staff. I recently went back and had a completely different experience and none of the original staff were there anymore. The nurse was highly incompetent and even admitted she didn't have a lot of experience with Juvederm which was the purpose of my visit. I decided not to get the Juvederm but it turned into a disaster because I had already prepaid for it and Karim did not want to return my money. He finally agreed to allow me to use ""my money"" on something else so I was told by the nurse to get botox instead. The results were horrible, one eyebrow completely drooped and I still have the wrinkles I was trying to erase from my forehead. When I called to inform them of the situation I was told, that sometimes happens and you will probably need more. There is no way I'm spending another cent with this spa and feel there are many other reputable spas to take my business and receive quality care and customer service.
