I'm writing this review after two visits to this salon. Both times was I was VERY satisfied. First of all, the parking is easy - there's a lot next to the building. The entire staff is very friendly, the setting is intimate with a LOT of character, and you're made to feel comfortable immediately. They offered me tea while I wait - I was early. I even enjoyed using their restroom because it had beautiful-smelling Aveda hand soap and facial/body/hand lotion. All the smells of their organic products are absolutely wonderful. Very earthy and wholesome, yet sensual. Both times I had Laura as my stylist. She seems to have really great taste, and a very good sense for discerning each individual client's sense of style. I noticed that my hair looked nothing like anybody else's that I saw walking out of there. I decided to go back the second time because after my first haircut, my boyfriend thought it was the best haircut of my life, so he asked me to go back to the same stylist and ask for the exact same haircut. Of course guys talk like this, but what girl wants the exact same thing? So Laura wonderfully thought up a style that approximated the first one, but with a great modification for more fun - for me to notice and feel happy, and for boyfriend to think I got the same cut. EVERYBODY was happy. Laura also did a fantastic make-up job on me - very innovative, tasteful, classy, stylish, but not off-landish. I felt like I'd never looked better. I was treated like a queen!
