I hired Lopez Glass to replace several of my windows. On the day scheduled for the estimane, I was preculded for a commercial customer. When the windows finally arrived (on time as promised) two of them were incorrect ( adding another day and my time). Mr. Lopez stated that the windows he had installed would be cleaned of caulk and tape when the new windows arrived. When the new windows arrived, the installers had no cleaning supplies! Here comes another day waiting for them. I scheduled them for the following Friday..NO SHOW! Since I had not paid them yet, I said let them call, I've done my part (I did however try to pay Mr. Lopez at the time of his estimate, when the first install was done and attempted to pay an employee when the remaining windows were installed). The following Friday as I was leaving.. Two of his employees were standing at my door with rags and a bottle of Windex..Sorry, I left. Called lopz and two days later they sent out someone to clean the windows. I had found a piece of metal on my bathroom floor, from some unknown assembly. When they removed the window to clean it, he said.' Look, this is broken'. I handed him the matching piece that they had broken originally. Then they broke another piece! Took pictures and I callled Lopez 3 times about it. He kept saying they were getting the parts. After 2 weeks, I receive an invoice.. Call Lopez and say I won't pay until the window frame is replaced or repaired. That got his attention! I had to cancel the first appointment, however we then had a firm date set for his examination of what he alredy said he was ordering! HE NEVER SHOWED!!! This is now past 2 months. I'm hiring another glass company to repair or replace the window and deducting the cost from his bill (as I gave them this option previously). When this is said and done I'll pay him. I spent 6 days of waiting for a job that should have taken 2 (Estimate and install)!
Cons: CONSTANT NO SHOW!
