Review content:
This little place is tucked away, but worth turning into for fresh sushi. When compared to the few pieces of sushi that you can pick up at the markets in the deli area for $5.95, on average, it's worth the few dollars more for the larger portions that you'll get here. The non-sushi items are good too, and Korean-style ribs are delicious as is the Fire Cracker Salad (although priced a little spendy at $9.95). Please try the tofu beef appetizer. It's really delicious. And there are a few full-course menu items that you can get as an appetizer. You won't have to spend the money on a full meal, but you can sample the dish this way. I've been twice, and the first time service was great. The second go round the hostess plunked down our menus on the table without making eye contact or saying anything. Thought this was pretty tacky. Perhaps it was because I had asked not to be seated near the door (with a cold, cold night I didn't want the draft), and if there are tables available elsewhere, I'd prefer to eat my meal in a calmer locale (without the back and forth traffic of folks entering/exiting the restaurant.) This, however, is personal preference but I wondered if that prompted the menu toss down?? Anyway, it's a good place overall. Good value for the price.
Pros: Good eats overall.
Cons: Wait staff could be friendlier
