I must confess when I first met Dr. Caron Whipple, after having her very highly recommended by two people, I didn't know if she was going to be able to help my husband, myself and my 15 year old daughter. She seemed to sweet and cheerful. I wondered if my daughter who had been going through a very dark period would connect with her. Although I knew Dr. Whipple had excellent credentials, she wasn't what I was expecting. However, I have come to respect Dr. Whipple as much as anyone I have ever known. I believe she has saved my daughters life, and my daughter adores her. This is very high priase from a mother whose family was being torn apart a little over a year ago. Dr. Whipple has dealt with some very intense issues with my husband and I with regard to our daughter, do not underestimate her ability to deal with the nitty gritty stuff. You may not realize it when you spend time with her, but underneath her rather casual, upbeat style lies an extremely intelligent and serious women. You will realize this when the chips are down. I was consistently shocked at the things she had noticed, I never knew she was paying such close attention. I am also appreciative of how she was able to bring up some very painful subjects regarding my daughter to my husband in such a way that he really ""got it"" and didn't become at all defensive. I also heard some tough things from Dr. Whipple but I always felt respected by her and it was always clear that she cared a great deal about my daughter.\r
