Firestone is a dependable auto service center but unfortunately the company that services their credit, Credit First CFNA is a disaster waiting to destroy your credit. Several years ago I had a large service bill. Firestone convinced me to sign upp for their quick and easy credit card. I did and got the job done. By using the credit card I also got 5% off the bill and 3 months to pay interest free. First bill arrives apx. 40 days after the repairs were completed and Says I missed my first payment. Therefor I would have to pay a late fee and lost the ""No interest"" grace period. Of course I called and argued till I was blue in the face. Got nowhere! Paid off the card and had no intention of ever using it again.\r Last month I let Firestone do my 90,000 service and got new tires. When I went to pay they told me they already put in on my credit card. Ahhhh! I was so upset. They again assured me that it would be fine and the company is now giving a 6 month interst free grace period. Well, about 40 days have now passed and my first bill arrived. Again saying I missed a payment.. This is just crazy. Also very damaging to overall credit rating. I will be turning in this company and asking for an investigation by the governing board for credit card companies. I suggest anyone else out there with this same fraud happening to them to report them as well. Even if it has been some time since this happened you can still fight to get that late charge refunded. Lets stick together here and get this company to face the music with the Feds! Pros: Firestone reliable repair shop Cons: CFNA Credit repeatedly claims I missed first payment
