Review content:
I saw Dr. Bashkoff and could not believe how she was not really listening to me. She minimized what I told her, looked off into the distance, was really concerned with her appearance even during a session, doodled and did her make-up! What therapist does that? She seemed smart, but lacked insight- she took things in a very superficial way. Honestly, she seems burnt out and has a hostile and angry streak and can be insensitively confrontational (and has been so off the mark about her conclusions). Its as if she would rather just have a nice chat than be your therapist. So, if you are looking to pay a pal for a 40 minute chat, go ahead. If you need a therapist, look elsewhere- you have been warned!
