Review content:
Since any licensed and appointed person can run illustrations FREE at the respective insurance companies, I was hesitant to sign up with Quotit's service. I spoke at length and in detail with the sales rep and finally agreed to a ""Premium"" package which added a website too (even though we have one already).\r
\r
I was COMPLETELY mislead about their cancelation policy. They wanted a $150 set up fee and I was told there is NO CONTRACT involved. Here we are 8 months later and I am being told of a $300 cancelation fee.\r
\r
The quote system is fine, if you want to pay for something you can get for free, I just despise being LIED to. When I asked whether they record their sales calls, I was told no...how convenient...for THEM.\r
\r
I refuse to refer an industry professional to an organization who misleads their customers. If you need to cancel with them, you will not only pay these fees but have to listen to multiple sales pitches before you have to scream I just want to cancel!!!\r
\r
I was told it is all in my customer agreement which everyone reads...hahahaha...when was the last time YOU read a company's dumb 40 page customer agreement. I felt I could trust my salesperson, but his commission was worth more than my business.\r
\r
Go direct to the insurance companies. Their proposals are nice and client friendly. Quotit's presentation might as well be in MS DOS.
