Review content:
From the moment you walk in you know it's going to be different. The decor is antique and vintage down to the tablecloths. The attention to detail in service and presentation is gorgeous. I ordered the Full Afternoon Tea. It included a teapot for one (2 cups) of my choice of tea (Darjeeling), and a tiered-rack of goodies. The top plate held an incredible blueberry scone with real clotted cream and strawberry jam, and two gingersnap cookies. The 2nd plate held crustless cucumber sandwiches and turkey sandwiches, and the bottom plate held a delicious chocolate cake with raspberry icing. This was all $13.95. There's a lot to look at and the aromas inside were mouthwatering. My friend ordered the butternut squash and apple soup and it was incredible. I've only been once but have made plans to go back next week and as long as they're open I believe to make myself known there. It's a 40 minute drive from my house but that's hardly a deterrent for this experience. Just a very pleasant experience altogether.
Pros: OMG the scones!
Cons: a little hard to find?
