Review content:
I recently paid off a loan with Prime Financial Credit Union, only to receive a call a week later claiming that--due an an error on their part--I was not charged interest for nine months. They stated that I was also at fault for not reporting this to them. Apparently, I'm supposed to be a banker and know what they are doing wrong. Rather than go after the idiot that made the account error, they have chosen to target me even though I received a payoff, paid that amount, and, in essence, did nothing wrong. They have been unhelpful and one person was somewhat threatening to me regarding this issue. I explained that I had autopay set up to pay about 15% over the minimum payments and never noticed anything wrong--isn't that the point of automatic payments--to not worry about one's payments being done correctly?! Regardless, they have apparently doubled my interest rate in regards to the remainder I supposedly 'owe' them. Their Union is staffed with some of the most incompetent people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Do yourself a favor: take your business elsewhere.
