I read the reviews on this site but no one mentioned the most glaring problem with this bowling alley, which was that it doesn't have computers that do the scoring for you! I've gone bowling at a fair number of places in the country (admittedly, this was only my third place in the Boston area) and I've never seen some place that didn't have computers, or if I have, it was when I was a little kid. \r
Since this was only my second time with candlepin (which I knew going in was the only thing they had), I really had a hard time scoring, but the man was nice enough to give me a (poorly written) guide to scoring. \r
Also, don't expect food or new shoes or anything automatic, espcially if the ball return is acting funky, as it was for me. On the plus side, the people were friendly, and went I went on a rainy Saturday morning, I was able to get a lane.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No computerized scoring!
