Review content:
I'm hesitant to write this review, because it tends to be ridiculously easy to make an appointment with her, which must mean she doesn't have a huge client base yet. I'm willing to give up this luxury to help you all out, though. I'm a pretty finicky customer...I cut my own hair for 6 years before I had it cut too short to do myself, and I was very nervous about finding someone in the Boston area who could do what I wanted, given that I'm out of practice when it comes to telling someone else how I want my hair, and short cuts can be a disaster. I brought in a picture, described some alterations, and walked out with the best haircut I can ever remember getting. Zen reminded me that there are techniques I have no clue about. It keeps its shape for 8+ weeks, which is great because at this point in my life I shouldn't be paying for haircuts every 6 weeks. I can't feel too guilty though, it's a steal at $30, my Mom's hairdresser charges around $60 and she's never given me a short cut this great. I'm the envy of everyone at the gym in the morning because I can flip it over my head, blast it with a dryer, run my fingers through it, and I'm ready to go. Not to mention she remembered me on my second visit, which always feels kind of nice :).
