Review content:
After years of searching for an answer to my unbearable chronic pain, it was clear that my pain was caused from scarring caused from P.I.D. For years I did not want to resort to taking pain medication, but the pain was becoming too much and I just couldn't bear it anymore. Day late dollar short. After throwing prescriptions away for years it seemed that now I couldn't find a doctor to take my pain seriously. I even contemplated getting a hystarectamy, but my OBGYN required me to visit a therapist and a shrink before he would consider it because of my age (31) and the fact that I do not have children. They both told me that considering what I had been thru that any anxiety or depression I was feeling was normal. So back to the OBGYN he, however, put me off for a week and I was then told to go back to the shrink and was then recommended for intensive outpatient treatment. HELLO?? I have pain and even though I think everyone can benefit from counseling, this just wasn't the place or time. He had told me he would prescribe me pain medication if I followed thru, but when I called for a refill I was denied. WTF! \r \r So after an internet search I found a review for Dr. Rubin and scheduled an appointment. He was everything the first review promised and more. As a matter of fact I almost got teary eyed when I was in his office, because somewhere deep down inside I think that I had given up hope.\r \r I am happy to say that my pain is finally under control and the only thing I suffer from is just a little lack of confidence after going thru all of this and losing several jobs due to missed days and another I resigned because I just couldn't be up and around due to the pain.\r Pros: Caring Doctor and Nurses, Wait times and scheduling have improved Cons: The triage nurse doesn't seem to know what she is doing and is rude almost all the time.
