I can understand a policy which does not allow for returns, especially since you are purchasing a used computer. Of course, having no recourse once you walk out the door seems a little unfair. I believe you have 24-48 hours. (WOW!)
I recently purchased a laptop from this store. I told the sales person what I needed it for and he assured me it was cable ready and showed me in the store that it was connected to the internet. When I got it home I could not get online and when I called the store he told me to do all these disconnections with the cable modem, etc. It still would not work. I took it back the next day and requested my money to be returned. They discovered (duh!) that the laptop was not cable ready and their connection was actually an ethernet connection. How dishonest!!! He had to know this. They refused to refund my money and put a network card in the side of the laptop which now sticks out the side of the computer. NOT AT ALL WHAT I WANTED IN A LAPTOP!
I will never purchase from this store again and never recommend it to anyone. The owner was not willing to consider me, THE PAYING CUSTOMER and what I wanted. At this store, the owner must always be right and very unethical...in my opinion.
