I have been going to Charles Hairtime since I was 25 years old. I am now 52 and have been living out of town for the last 24 years. As a military wife, i have traveled and moved all over the USA, including Alaska. I have NEVER received such professional hair styling as I have from Chuck, the owner of Charles Hairtime. I have had some cuts that were so bad, it took months to get a normal style restored. Thankfully, I still get to have Charles style my hair while visiting my parents. Ahh, I get a truly professional and personalized style that is just right for me and I am happy until it grows out and I have to go to some very nice people who have a license to cut hair but have offer inferior quality compared to what I have received from Charles. Let me also mention that I have very thin, wavy and difficult hair. From the very beginning, Charles looked at the shape of my face, the type of hair I have and created a style that was just right for me. As for the pricing, I have been charged a much higher price in many other states where I have lived. I feel I have a good perspective having lived so many places and having been to so many stylists. Regarding the comment about Charles asking "personal questions" when I met Charles at 25 years old, I had some serious issues in my life and he never pried into my business but was merely friendly. I hate having someone cut my hair when they are impersonal and unfriendly. When it was time for my daughter to have her hair cut as she became a young lady, Charles was the first person I thought of and she really felt like she had her first professional hair styling. Hey Charles, I look forward to my next appointment with you!
