This is video I took when simply trying to verify the identity of the owner of Univeristy Shell in Portland so I could talk to him about a horrible experience with an employee the day before.
The man being questioned in the video verbally abused my wife, parked his truck behind her vehicle to keep her at the gas station against her will, then offered to let her go only if she gave him her diamond ring, all because her credit card was declined for $5 worth of gas.
After I innocently ask the man in the video if he was the owner of University Shell, I was then pushed, punched, and thrown by the actual owner, Mike Ray, the man seen assaulting me on the left, and several employees both on and off camera.
The owners of University Shell, Mike Ray and Lance Lewallen should be appalled at how these loyal customers were treated and have no place running a business.
Please boycott University Shell in Portland located on 2800 SW Sam Jackson Road, Portland, Or 97201, or call them @ 503 274-0055 and let them know that their abusive and criminal actions against their own customers is outrageous and won't be tolerated.
