We purchased about $2,500 worth of meat from this company about 5yrs ago and they included a freezer...great experience. Last Tuesday they came out to sell us some more meat. We had a good experience with them before and we liked the salesperson so we decided to buy $800 more. My wife cooked it up that evening and was not overly impressed. She decided to cancel the order so we called the salesperson the very next day to tell him we wanted to cancel. That is where everything went downhill. He gave us their customer service number since he said he couldn't do anything once he sold us the meat. Since 5/18/11 we have tried their # several times a day and the mailbox is full so I can't leave a message. Yesterday I was finally able to leave a message but still no call back. I even went to their office and no one was there. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and even cancelled my check I wrote for half of the purchase. The salesperson told me they are just so busy this time of year with so many people buying meat from them. I can't confirm or deny that comment but their customer service is absolutely horrible. By law they have 10 days to return my $ so if that day comes I will be forced to file a small claim like the other person on this site. Buy if you dare but don't think the road will be easy if you have a problem with your purchase!!
