This isn't a hot brunch spot, it's a magic show. The moment I was seated, it seems as though I had vanished. My coffee cup remained in the upside down position until I tackled the waitress, and after she had poured the coffee -- promising to be right back with the cream -- I once again had to flag her down by waving my cup of luke warm black coffee in the air. \r

I've frequented Renee's for 4 years. The service had always been smileless and rude, but the food was always prompt, light and delicious. After ordering, I sat for 40 minutes without a single drive by.... the ""bottomless coffee"" had also disappeared. It's one thing if the service is terrible but the food is great, but another if the service is terrible and the food slow (the place was not even busy). We ended up throwing $5 on the table and walking out. I'm not sure anyone noticed. \r
