Review content:
I am a mortgage broker with 15 years experience in lending. Over that time I've been approved with more lenders than I can count and used several different appraisers. \r \r I've been using Hendrick Appraisers for 8 years, and I've never had any issue with them not being approved with any of my lenders. His appraisals have always been honest and accurate, and their customer service is second to none. \r \r I'm not sure what the issue the other reviewer had, but I can tell you his recommendation to use Zillow shows a complete lack of industry knowledge. Zillow is worthless. Anybody with any Real Estate experience will tell you this.\r \r I wish Zillow had a better engine for evaluating homes, because it would be a great tool for me if it did. But sadly, there is almost nothing useful about it, as it consistently values homes 100s of thousands of dollars over and under their actual value. Even when you try to tweak the details and comps, it can not accurately assess a home. The only thing it is good for is looking at other comps, and trying to figure out the value on your own (a difficult thing to do if you don't have any professional experience evaluating homes).\r \r If you want a TRUE value of a home, one that a lender will actually use in lending you money, you need to hire a professional appraiser. And I can think of none finer than Hendrick Appraiser.\r \r Pros: Approved with every lender I've ever used (which are many). Cons: none.
