Explicit instructions were left on the day of our trip and discussed with Rebecca two weeks before via an informal meeting. She was shown where the food was located and given explicit, written (2 paged) instruction on their eating, walking and pooping schedule. Upon our arrival, we found 5 large poo's throughout the house. In addition, our next door neighbor came over every day at lunch to visit with them only and he notified us that he scooped up 7 large poo's throughout the house over 3 days. Our dogs are trained!\r We also found there to be no water in their bowls. The toilet bowls were empty, showing me that the dogs must have had to resort to drinking toilet water. When we arrived home, our dogs cowardly came down the stairs, whereas, usually they would run down happily to see us. I have confronted 5 neighbors and only 1 reported seeing her car in the driveway. The one reported seeing her one day. We live in an active neighborhood, where kids are always playing in our driveway, neighbors playing outside with their dogs and exercising outside is the norm for our residents. Believe me, if a dog sitter had been walking our three labs on leashes twice a day as agreed upon, she w ould have been seen or heard!\r I have spoken to her, but she denies not taking appropriate care of the dogs. When questioned about the smell of poo, she claims she was born without a sense of smell, thus would not have been able to smell dog poo. She admits not paying much attention to who pooed when on their walks and admits that she did not check the house for poo. Poo was visibly on the main rugs in our house and on the stairwell, where she was suppose to travel on to fill the upstairs bowl of water. If she had stepped beyond the front hall, she must have been blind to not see the poo! Or decided that ws not her job and left it to dry on our orental and seagrass rugs! Our house still smells of poo and the three rugs can not be cleaned. Pros: Zero Cons: For a supposed animal lover I was shocked by the lack of care my dogs suffered at her hands
