Review content:
I highly advise NOT to do any business at Throne's Auto. The short version: I had an agreement with them and they expressly did not honor their word. Basicially, I was charged $300 for what I believe to be $80 owed. I paid the $300 after the owner threatened to get title to my vehicle via an abandonded vehicle procedure after numerous conversations about the car had taken place. Throne's agreed to allow my son to come in and take items from the totalled vehicle and waive cost of towing and storage. It was expressly agreed that my son could take the time necessary to recover from his injuries sustained in the related crash and then come in and remove rims, speaker wires, a new compressor, etc.... When my son arrived 12 days later to do this, boy had the terms changed!! He was not permitted to perform what was agreed to. He argued liability to me but was willing to let him take the items if they were replaced. Hummm... I went to Throne's and made a settlement offer of half the amount. When Mr. Throne refused to put into writing that he would not pursue abandoned title until after he made his decision on the settlement offer, I paid the amount in full and left. Before leaving, the owner even went so far as to say that he did not want to ever see me again. And, I never so much as raised my voice or used one inappropriate word. Speaks volumes for Throne's professinalism, doesn't it?? Cons: Highly uprofessional. I believe I was lied to and owner would not entertain a reasonable settlement offer.
