Review content:
I went to the Tattoo Factory just before the holidays to get a flower on my ankle to symbolize the anniversary of my 1st cancer free year. I called on the phone and they told me that they were a 20 min ride from Zion. WRONG, try more like an hour! I went there alone, which was a VERY bad idea as this place is in one of the scariest neighborhoods I've ever been in, I even had to have one of the staff walk me to my car afterwards!\r \r There were hoodlums and homeless people in the alleyway near where I parked my car. It was still daylight, so I walked in the place, nice and big, but looks like a biker shop. And after being rudely pushed around the waiting room by artists(?) that couldn't be bothered by me, I was greeted by Mike. I showed him my design and he priced it very high, $280 for a flower no bigger than a silver dollar! I decided that since I came this far, I was going to just pay for it and get it overwith, another mistake. Anyway, Mike was a really nice guy, until he started CARVING on my leg. This tattoo hurt so bad, that I would rather bear children than go back to this place again.\r \r The tattoo looked OK at first but it was bleeding for 2 days and it hurt really bad. After about a week of following their care instructions, the tattoo was NOT healing, only getting worse. I called the shop but Mike was off that day. They were rude again and told me to call back and talk to him. I called my doctor instead. The tattoo was infected and there was a hole large enough to stick my finger inside. It was sick. My doctor gave me antibiotics and removed some of the tattoo tissue. It has been about 7 weeks and my tattoo is nowhere even close to being healed. Not only will I never be able to were shoes or pants that show my ankles, but now I have to pay to get it removed. AND IT STILL HURTS!\r \r I will NEVER go there again and they will be recieving a letter from my attorney shortly. I will never go there again, and I will never get another tattoo, ever.
