Review content:
I ate pizza here once and was very unimpressed. I then decided to give the pasta a shot and, again, was very unimpressed. The service was mediocre at best (no drink refills, never gave us the check, had no recommendations to share) and the meal itself was absolutely terrible. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and a splash of onion (tomatoes may have been left out due to health concerns at the time) - nothing else (the dressing was not all that bad, however). The lasagna dish was nothing but cheese and hard noodles. The meat tasted sour and fishy and had a ugly film on it. Additionally, the lasagna was not layered at all and served in a bowl not the usual caraffe-style presentation you would receive at a truly authentic Italian restaurant. Frankly, I have had better ""authentic"" Italian at Olive Garden. I am all for supporting local, family-owned businesses, but Two Guys is hard to revisit after the two bad experiences I have had in the past year.
Pros: NCSU memorabilia (if you're a fan), downtown/college feel
Cons: Bad presentation, mediocre service, ugly dining area, filmy meat, bad salads
