Review content:
I have been going here since I was in college in the 70s. I have always loved this place, and I took my grandkids for dinner last week so they could try the pizza. I will never go back. \r \r 1. The food was excellent, and is exactly as I remember it, and the service was equally as good. My problem is not with either of those. \r \r 2. There was a gentleman in there wearing a ballcap, who I presume to be the owner. My waitress was polite and kind, all you could ask for. The owner yelled at her twice while I was there, and I was able to hear some of what was said to her, which included many things my grandkids didn't need to hear. \r \r 3. When we went up front to pay, the same gentleman was as polite and nice to us as anybody has ever been while he was ringing us up. If that's not enough, there was alcohol on his breath that I could smell from across the counter. \r \r I have told everyone I know to never go here. I really hope that this once great restaurant will be ran by someone better than this. I guess if you're the owner, you don't have anyone to answer to, but that's no excuse for the way he treats his waitstaff. Pros: the food, the service Cons: the idiot running the place
