Less than 2 weeks after I moved in I came home from work on a sat night to my bathroom ceiling leaking from the vent, so I called the after hours maint # immed..I got a recording that the user had the phone off, no option to leave a msg. When I called the office 1st thing Mon morning, when explaining the issue, the woman finished my scentence since they already knew of the leak issue in my unit. She said they would be over to take care of it. On thurs after I called again, the guy finally came; he stood in the bathroom looked at the ceiling then he said he had to go upstairs and check something. 5 days later he had not been back, so I went to the office to ask about it; the woman at the office said that their guy had taken care of it, and then argued with me when I told her he had done nothing. She then called him on the radio to let him know that I was still wanting to have it fixed. He came out the following day (we are now going on 2 full weeks of the leaking ceiling) and his new solution was to poke 2 holes in the ceiling above the toilet so that when it leaked it would go in the toilet not on the floor. He also spray painted the ceiling so I could not see the discoloration from the mold and mildew. Never mind that the sheet rock is bowed and falling down & I can smell the mildew. Since then, I have called the office 7 times and gone in there 3 times requesting that this be fixed; each time I get the same response...I will put in a work order. Then nothing happens. In the mean time, the ceiling leaks off and on, at least once a day for several hours, making it necessary to use an umbrella when I use the bathroom if I do not want to have water that is possibly from someone elses toilet dripping down my back while I use the bathroom. I have started just staying at my boyfriends house most of the time so I essentially have a $710 per month storage unit. I only have 2 months left on my lease and I cant wait to be done with them! Pros: Outward appearance is nice, very deceptive Cons: Managment are a bunch of unprofessional flakes
