Zewditu (the owner) makes all of her food with love - love for her customers, love for making good quality food. Eating there is like going to Mom's for a home-cooked meal. Her food is my comfort food. Almost anything you order can be made as mild or spicy as you like. Whether carnivore or vegetarian, you are guaranteed to get a meal that is tasty and unusual, but very satisfying. Be warned - this is ""hands-on"" eating. You don't get silverware, except to pack up your left-overs. In almost a decade of regular dining, it always puts a spark in my eye, just to say its name. The food is personalized in a relaxing atmostphere of Mom's (or Grandma's) kitchen (without Mom telling you to keep your elbows off the table!). The moderate prices are balanced with an abundance of food (besides, left overs always taste better the next day). Attention coffee lovers: Ethiopian coffee is roasted and ground in-house with each order!! In a day and age where customer service is often a learned skill, at Queen of Sheba, it is the rule of the day. It is natural, it is effortless.
Pros: Home made food in a friendly atmostphere
Cons: This is not ""fast food"" - each entree is cooked to order & takes time.
