\r I've been dealing with Richard Patty for going on 2 years. I never had a problem until he ordered me a Para USA Warthog in .45 ACP. The gun lasted a mere 14 days. On the 14th day of ownership, 29 Aug 2011, the recoil spring plug and extractor broke. I ask him on this date what he could do for me and he said, ""I needed to call the manufacture."" The manufacture wanted me to pay the shipping and made light of the fact it broke. Mr. Patty never offered any help. I finally got Para USA to pay shipping since the gun was so new. I contacted my credit card company and they advised me to file a dispute on the grounds of poor quality. They additionally advised me to continue working with Mr. Patty. On, 20 Sept 2011, I informed him what was going on, the gun was at Para's repair shop & I was considering disputing the charge. He told me he'd give me my money back but I'd need to find another place to shop. I was happy. Then he called on the 21st and threatened to have me arrested on felony theft.\r After a being threatened by Richard Patty, for felony theft, over a gun that lasted just 14 days. I'd have to say, don't shop at Shotgun Sports! His excuse for the blackmail/threat was because I was considering turning it over to disputes with my credit card company on the grounds of poor quality. It cost $925 & was new & just lasted 14 days. If that isn't grounds for poor quality what is? Just remember on, 20 Sept 2011, he offered to give me my money back, once I got it back from Para USA's Service Department. On, 21 Sept 2011, he called threatening to have me arrested on felony theft charges. Mr. Patty just isn't a person of good moral character.\r
