My mother was operated on by Dr Richmond with great success. It was obvious that Dr Richmond was interested in her as a person, not just a patient. Spent two hours with us in the hospital while tests were done to determine if she was ready to go home. None of this five minutes, I'm on the rounds, and I will be back later to read the chart! No, she was there, hands on, to personally assure all was well.
The follow ups were equally one-on-one involvement assuring my mother was pain-free, comfortable, and knew what to expect in the future for treatment, rehabilitation, etc.
What shows through is Dr Richmond herself. She really really cares with passion that is indescribable. It is just not a passion about what she does but the state of the whole medical system.
Update: 6/10 The great care continues with each follow up visit.
