Review content:
On our recent cruise to the Inside Passage, this was the first tour my husband and I experienced. Put simply...it was amazing. We saw at least a dozen bald eagles, viewed the totem poles from the water, as they were often meant to be seen, at the Totem Bright State Historical Park and had the unique experience of talking with an author who lived on Guard Island as a child. The ship's captain and his crew were extremely knowledgeable about their environment and helpful in pointing out things (mostly eagles) to spot on the shore. Not only was the tour educational and enjoyable, it was a personal experience as we waved to one of the crew's husband out on his dock and passed by another girl's grandparents' home. These people love where they live and enjoy sharing their beautiful home with tourists like us. I would highly recommend this tour excursion to anyone traveling to Ketchikan.
