I went to see Dr. McQuady at the Pelvic Pain Center after years of suffering from pain with sex and other ""female pain""...My OB/GYN tried to help, but I was still hurting. I didn't think antidepressants or pain meds were the answer. I knew something was wrong and I wanted to fix it! I have a great husband, but this was ruining our marriage. I was starting to think I'd just have to live with it, but didn't want to. One day, I confessed to a friend what was going on and, to my surprise, she had experienced similar problems! She suggested the Pelvic Pain Center and said that they had changed her life! I called and made an appointment for an evaluation there and I always will be grateful that I did. From the first time you step through the door, these people really listen and seem to care. For the first time, I had found medical professionals who took the time to hear me, understood what was going on (!), and actually could help me. Dr. McQuady is absolutely amazing. Not only is he a world-renowned specialist, but he is the kindest man. I wish there were more doctors like him and that I had found him sooner! If your periods really hurt or sex is painful, this is where you need to go!
