Oh, for the good ole days! That's what we said when went back to the Cafe after a few years drought. We thought for sure we would be greeted promptly, seated efficiently and our order taken post-haste, as it used to be. What a disappointment! We had to find our own table, wait for more than 10 minutes to get menus and to have someone, anyone, acknowledge our presence. Well, in Rockport, a wait that long is not tolerable. I don't think we'll be back.\r

Now, the food was good once we got it. The waiter was apologetic but it just didn't wash. It appears to me that good help must be difficult to find because the Saturday lunch crowd was being handled by just two waiters. I don't think the juice was worth the squeeze.
Pros: Located right down town, convenient to the Austin Street shoppers.
Cons: Not enough wait staff, too long a wait for seating and service.
