Review content:
I hired Capital Landscape summer of 2011 (mark Chester) the owner came out and gave me the bid and yes there were weeds everywhere, the reason I was hiring a landscaper, I agreed to the bid and as there were doing the work I noticed that the were just putting soil over my mow strips, the worker called his foreman and he said we would lay mow strips latter (not written in the contract, but I said ok go ahead, when the time came he didn't want to put in mow strips over the old ones and wanted to give me a refund of 200.00 so I called around and got an estimate for mow strips which was 3.00 a foot, the area which he covered my original mow strips was like 200 plus feet. when i called him and told him that, he was not willing to do anything else so I took the 200.00 and since he build up the dirt in stead of leveling the dirt of from the beginning my side yards are not at the same level as the landscaped lawn. buyer beware, I spent 5 thousand dollars, a lot of money for me and got a below expected landscape job. I have never had any landscaping done before but thought they would have left the mow strip and put the lawn in between them even if they had not noticed them when he came out for the bid. looked to me like he has no pride in the final out come of my landscaping project.
