To have closed the Diner broke my heart. The story was the Diner closed due to a drug problem. This is not true. All of our regular customers knew what Uncle Billys Diner situation was. The maxed credit cards. The unpaid bills. We were blessed by Dutch Bros who did not need the property but reached out and helped this small family by purchasing the note due from Uncle Billys to help us walk away with some integrity. We thank Dutch Bros with all our hearts, we are forever grateful to Travis and send our sympathy to him and family members, friends that are in his life for the loss of his brother. We love you Dutch Bros! We lost our home to foreclosure. After closing the doors to Uncle Billys Diner. We no longer could pay our mortgage for our home. We lost our Surburban for the same reason. We lost our bank that we had for over 20 years. We walked away from Cave Junction beaten and broken inside and out. Today, we are standing up. We are awake and dealing with the past so we can move forward into a brand new future. We want to thank all those that encouraged us through the process which the number can be counted on one hand. To those that wished us destruction, we say to you all. [the measure you meet will be the measure that comes back to you] our prayer to you is May God have Mercy on you and us.
