Review content:
My truck was leaking oil from the rear axel. On 9/8/11, I talked to two reps who both indicated that the leak was probably from a worn Pinion Seal. They quoted a price for 1 hour labor plus a $20-$30 part. (called the parts company to verify.) They printed a quote for $110 and I signed.\r I took the truck in on 9/10/11 for the repair. During my 3 hour stay, 2 of those hours were waiting for the part. During this time, two reps, plus one from the 9/8 meeeting, verified that the issue was indeed only the Pinion Seal... and stated that had the bearings been worn, this could have become more expensive. Naturally, armed with this information, I assumed that my initial quote would be in the ball park.\r \r When the work was completed, they presented me with the initial quote, which had the $110 crossed off and $260 written in its place. The agent was very rude, and said that I shouldn't expect them to work for free and that this work had been explained to me. The reps who did the work didn't have the professionalism to come from the back area and explain the difference to me face to face.\r I was totally taken advantage of and will never go back...
