I've used the local chain drycleaning store for a little while, having them do simple tailoring jobs like hems, but I was never quite satisfied with the work. I'm practically obsessive-compulsive about the fit of my clothing and my proportions make it necessary to have many things tailored. Jack is a miracle worker! He tailored two coats for me, one a heavy wool coat with thinsulate lining, and the other a down (yes, down!) jacket. Both look amazing, you can't even tell they've been worked on. His work on the down jacket was especially impressive, as this is a difficult thing to do (and he didn't lose any of the feather fill). I now feel more freedom in buying clothes because I know Jack can make them fit me perfectly, even if they don't right off the rack.
