I have had 4 dogs, all of which I have been taking to Dr Flennigan (Flennikan?) for several years. Not only do the dogs actually LIKE pulling up to the vet building but you can tell he loves taking care of them. My german shepard has had severe hip dysplasgia since he was 6mo old. He was very upfront with me about his quality of life and making decisions as time went on. Luckily we are able to keep him out of pain and loving life. He also will not allow anyone to touch his paws or legs because of the pain he's had in the past and we have to sedate him to clip his claws... yes, clip his nails. However he is much more comfortable, less traumatized and has less hip dislocations from fighting. \r \r My other dog is actually my service dog and she is well cared for by all the vets there. We usually see Dr Flenniken for them all. However when she had a distended stomach which we thought was twisted I had just started a new job in Aurora and couldn't afford to pay for her to be there overnight for observation or to bring her back in the morning. It was taken care of and luckily she was ok. They always help me financially when it comes to treatment and medications for the animals, the ARE NOT lining their pockets with money. \r \r They helped with the passing of both our other dogs and allowing that to happen at home, comfortably. They are AWESOME, I have seen other vets but these are the only ones I trust.
