Review content:
I am amused by the negative reviews of this park blaming all but the low lifes that come here to live. Notice that most complaints come from people down on their luck who have to come here, or who have no place to go but here. That is where the problem begins. It has taken the managers who just left over two years to repair the damages done by previous managers who let the park run down into a ghetto. And a slum landlord owner who is only interested in the bottom line. They had a strict policy on rental and ownership that offended the ones who wanted to bring their kids, drugs, animals and friends into a place they felt they could hide their deeds. They tore down the derelict homes as quickly as the owner would allow so the kids and drug dealers ran out of places to hide and congregate. And because the place had cleaned up and those of us who are respectable and take good care of our properties were actually beginning to feel some kind of pride again, it was time for a manager change because the owner wants to sell! I only hope the present managers are interested in a bit more than just pleasing an owner who doesn't care one bit. But we are already seeing property damage and wild kids again. I fear we are in for another siege unless someone with some kind of class can take over this beautiful piece of property and clean it out for good! And the ones who complain the loudest are usually the ones who were asked to leave or refused entrance. After all, it takes everyone to make a community, not just the few seniors who still take pride in where we live. What a shame for our city.
