Review content:
Like any business, Anita's isn't perfect, however, I haven't come across any business that is. I have been involved with the studio for numerous years, and I'll admit I've checked out other studios as well. Yet when it came down to it Anita's was what suited me. It may not suite all people looking for that perfect technique, but it IS PERFECT for anyone that just wants to dance. Not many girls would last at other studios demanding that perfect technique because of their ability or learning ability or social skills, but EVERYONE gets the chance to dance at Anita's no matter who they are. \r

I know people who dance at other studios that claim to be better and I've seen their recitals and frankly I saw little difference between them and Anita's. And if you look at the other reviews here on the site, they are from past company members and teachers, however, they just represent the few negative opinions out of the thousands of girls that have taken classes there. It is important to remember the facts: 1. These girls chose to take company classes that require a specific time, ability, and behavior commitment, that often requires more money to participate. 2. There are hundreds of other girls at the studio that aren't in the companies that go there. 3. You pay weekly not counting absences (with a registration fee in August) and costumes have never gone over $70 per costume for at large students which is the average for a decent costume ANYWHERE you may go. \r
\r
\r
It is also important to remember when going into an atmosphere such as dance, acting, singing, or athletics there are competitive people, parents and children. And when these stage-moms and dads get involved, there is going to be a lot of drama and negatives no matter who their kid is because they only want ""THE BEST"" because their child is ""THE BEST"" no matter what. \r
\r
\r
Kids need to be kids, if they enjoy what they are doing in a friendly atmosphere they will enjoy the studio.
Pros: Location, varieties of opportunity, staff.
Cons: Competitive parents
