Review content:
I have not been to Anita's in 13 years, but I can see from the reviews some things never change. Anita still has her favorites (Go to a show, as I did two years ago. The favorite is the girl with many solos dancing right in front.), Some of the girls have bigger egos than needed, and the studio should be first in everyone's life. I started dancing at Muskego Dance Studio when I was 2 years old. For those of you who do not know, Muskego Dance Studio was the name of Antia's when her mother was the owner. Anita's mother and sister were my first dance teachers. Every week I looked forward to going to my dance lessons in the now nonexistant Parkland Mall. I met such wonderful girls & had a great time learning new dances. I'm sure that my mother loved the time to gab with the other mothers. By the time I was in middle school, Anita had taken over the studio. The studio really began to grow and soon moved to its location now. How exciting it was to move into this brand new faciltiy. During this time I had not joined the Dance Company. I was involved with cheerleading and didn't think I had enough time. Also, I was in the classes with the girls in the company. Not all of them were the nicest girls. I didn't think that I could handle being around them multiple times a week in the many classes company members had to take. I did start to teach classes. I loved teaching even though no training was involved except for my experiences with classes I took. I don't kow about hte teachers now. My junior year of high school I did join the company. I wanted to see if I was missing out of anything. That is were I am undecided. I was not one of the favorites. I really didn't care I just wanted to dance. And I did dance. I danced until literally hours before leaving for college. I was with this studio for sixteen years of my life. I wouldn't want anyone to take away my experience with Anita's. However, I am one of few who left that studio at the time on good terms with the owner.
