I agree with all the negative views. I've dance at Anita's for 15 years. I was in all the Company's, including Dance Company. You will only find out the truth about this place if you are in the dance company. That's where you basically sign a contract saying ""YOU DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO US"". In easier terms, THEY OWN YOU. Oh and then of course there is their ""Ladder"" that they have. They say the order is Family, Religion, Dance, and then Friends. But really it goes like this..Dance, Money, Dance recitals, More money, Costumes, Practices, oh how about some more MONEY. I'm not even being sarcastic when I say that. If you say you have a family reunion or church they get furious. Oh also you shouldn't be in the dance company if you have a boyfriend, ""It's unprofessional"". Oh and god forbid you have a Myspace to keep in contact with your old friends, friends from dance too. They will come to class and have a meeting, accusing us of having drinking pictures or something outrageous like that. They also had a former teacher basically spy on us aka Miss Angela. It's not CIA, it's dance. Oh and don't make ANY MISTAKES, because if you brake one of their stupid rules, you will, without a doubt, be talked about for many years to come. Very unprofessional. Also on their trips they threaten to ship you back home on a plane if you are not back in the room from the pool exactly at 10. Ridiculous. I find it hilarious how many people ended up hating them in the end. Other than that I made a lot of good friends, and I had fun to a certain extent. But when you start to see all the negative sides to it, it pretty much ruins all of your positive thoughts. Thats my conclusion.\r

Oh and by the way all the girls are pretty positive that Anita and Julie write the positive Reviews, so don't waste your time reading a book if lies!\r

Oh and just for the record, I didn't get kicked out, I quit.
Pros: some really nice students/teachers
Cons: lies, expensive, fake people
