I found out about V.S. Salon on CitySearch and made an appointment for a color and a cut. I was a little disappointed to learn that the coupon is for an ""Accent Highlight"" which a quarter of your hair. The other highlight options include approx. half your hair of all of your hair. I decided to do half my hair and still received a 10% discount as a first time client! \r

The stylist, who has been there 1.5 years, spend a good amount of time with discussing highlight colors and we ultimately choose two colors that compliement my nature hair color. The coloring process took a normal amount of time, but the cut process took a longer than I thought. I didn't like the first cut that the stylist gave me, (I have long hair and wanted to go shorter, she cut ~4 inches off, but I wanted more layers than she initally gave me), but she took the time to cut and layer more and now I am really happy! \r

I will definitely go in a few months for another cut. (I think I'll wait half a year for another color!)
