As other reviewers have mentioned, the experience of Aujourd'hui is top-notch. The food is the best around, from the amuse bouche, right on through to the dessert. We had an amazing appetizer: fois gras burger with truffle french fries -- out of this world. Our entrees were delectable as well. The staff is what truly stands out about the restaurant. In addition to the unpretentious friendliness of everyone we encountered, multiple staff members knew and used our names, and also knew that we were celebrating our 1st anniversary (they asked us when we made our reservation if we were celebrating an occasion), and ""congratulations"" abounded. We also had a great table next to the window overlooking the garden. Expensive, yes, but everything about the night was wonderful, and it was money well spent for our special occasion.
