Was recommended by a friend for installing a replacement top on a 1964 Ford Galaxie XL convertible. Talked to the foreman and provided all the new parts he recommended. \r Car was there for 4 days, twice as long as stated.\r # 1 problem, weather-strip installed totally incorrectly, damage to 2 pieces of weather-strip\r # 2 problem, wrinkles in the top, not installed correctly\r # 3 problem, back seat bottom seam torn open\r Basically, here is your car, have a good day!\r \r Foreman came to my house to fix the weather-strip, instead, he cut a piece making it too short. Called and talked to owner and foreman, will review car when I take out of winter storage and fix then. I felt like they would fix the problems.\r \r WRONG\r \r Spring, and the wrinkles they said would go away, didn't. Owner and foreman came to the house, reviewed the car and agreed to re-install the top, get a new weather-strip kit to replace the one they cut and fix the back seat. Owner said he would get the kit and call me. 6 weeks later, I called him, 10 times. I finally went through our mutual friend and then he called back, ""What did I want""\r \r He said bring the car in and he would fix, I call to see if he got the kit, no return call.\r \r Ended in small claims court and I was ordered to give him a chance to fix the car.\r \r He fixed the seat, made the top worse and didn't do much with the weather-striping.\r \r Back to court, the judge reviewed the car and ordered him to replace the weather-strip, pay to fix the well liner he messed up and court costs.\r \r He still hasn't paid, I now need to go back to court and pay additional funds to have a seizure notice against him.\r \r My advice, try Pete?s in Taylor. They are listed at the Robbins site as recommended installers. K. E. Binders was, but I was told they were taken off based on this court case.\r Cons: I have nothing good I can say
